Difference between NRI and NRE Accounts

Key Difference: The term “Non-resident Indian” is differs from “Non-Resident External” and “Non-Resident Ordinary”, where NRI is a legal status and NRE and NRO back accounts. NRI refers to the tax status of a citizen, while NRE and NRO are different types of back accounts that are available to the NRI. A person is deemed an NRI or a Non-resident Indian when an Indian citizen stays abroad for purposes such as employment, business and vacation.

Honey vs. Hunny: What's the Difference?

Main DifferenceThe main difference between Honey and Hunny is that the Honey is a sweet food made by bees using nectar from blossoms and Hunny is a fictional character. Honey Honey is a sweet, viscous food substance produced by bees and some related insects. Bees produce honey from the sugary secretions of plants (floral nectar) or other insects (aphid honeydew) through regurgitation, enzymatic activity, and water evaporation. Honey is stored in wax structures called honeycombs.

Difference Between Spore Forming Bacteria and Non Spore Forming Bacteria

The main difference between spore forming bacteria and non spore forming bacteria is that the spore-forming bacteria produce highly resistant, dormant structures called spores in response to adverse environmental conditions whereas the non-spore-forming bacteria do not produce any type of dormant structures. Furthermore, spore-forming bacteria are highly pathogenic while non-spore-forming bacteria are not generally pathogenic.  Spore-forming and non-spore-forming bacteria are two types of bacteria classified based on the ability to form spores. Spore-forming bacteria include some species of Bacillus and Clostridium while some non-spore-forming bacteria belong to the families Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonidaceae.

Difference Between Diffraction and Scattering

Diffraction vs Scattering   Diffraction and scattering are two very important topics discussed under wave mechanics. These two topics are of utmost importance and are vital in understanding the behaviors of waves. These principles are widely used in fields such as spectrometry, optics, acoustics, high-energy research and even building designs. In this article, we are going to discuss what diffraction and scattering are, their definitions, applications of scattering and diffraction, their similarities and finally the difference between diffraction and scattering.

Difference Between Growth and Development

Growth vs Development The terms Growth and Development are used with every aspect of life. There might be some confusion when using the terms as they are often used interchangeably. Growth is just ‘getting bigger’, whereas development is improvement. Growth can be explained as becoming bigger or larger or having more importance. Growth is termed as a physical change, where as development is said to be physical as well as social or psychological change.

Difference Between Gonal-F and Follistim

Many women face issues regarding infertility which can be caused by several issues like aging issues, hormonal issues. For treating women’s infertility there are several treatment options. One of the most common treatments for this health condition is taking medications for correcting hormonal issues.  In this case, FSH or follicle-stimulating hormones are used for treating this medical condition. Gonal-F and Follistim are two FSHs that are commonly used all over the world.

Lithograph vs. Poster: What's the Difference?

Main DifferenceThe main difference between Lithograph and Poster is that the Lithograph is a printing process and Poster is a any piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a wall or vertical surface. Lithograph Lithography (from Ancient Greek λίθος, lithos, meaning ‘stone’, and γράφειν, graphein, meaning ‘to write’) is a method of printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone (lithographic limestone) or a metal plate with a smooth surface.

Difference Between Carburetor and Fuel Injection

Carburetor vs Fuel Injection   In an internal combustion engine, the fuel- air ratio of the fuel air mixture has significant influence on the performance of the engine, since it directly controls the power output of the engine. Carburettors and Electronic fuel injection systems are devices used to mix fuel and air with a proper ratio and control the fuel air mixture given to the engine. The carburetor was first introduced in the late 19th century and the fuel injection methods came into the field around 1920`s.

Difference Between Seeds and Peers

Seeds vs Peers Torrents have become the newest and best among the file sharing networks. With torrents, there is no centralized servers where the files can be downloaded from. Instead, the files are copied from other users who have portions of the file or the entirety. Seeds are basically copies of the entire file that has been placed so that other downloaders have a source. Peers are the people who are also downloading the file.

Difference Between Aging and Senescence

The key difference between aging and senescence is that aging is the process of deterioration of cells with time while senescence is a result of aging where the cells stop dividing and reach a state of arrest. DNA damage leads to many critical outcomes. Although there are repair mechanisms in the body, certain damages cannot be repaired through these repair mechanisms. The accumulation of unrepaired DNA damages can lead to aging of cells, eventually leading to cell destruction.
