Difference Between Spermiogenesis and Spermiation
Key Difference – Spermiogenesis vs Spermiation
Spermatogenesis is a process through which mature sperms are produced from thegerm cells in males. The germ cells are present in the seminiferous tubules of the testis. The process starts from the mitotic division of stem cells that are present closer to the basement membrane. These stem cells are referred to as spermatogonial stem cells. The whole process takes place under different stages with varied cell divisions.
